Hi! My name is Mimi, I’m the lead florist and locally grown flower enthusiast, located on Block Island, Rhode Island. I grow and arrange seasonally and sustainably and offer a seed-to-stem floral service to the community.
After receiving my bachelors in Fine Art at UCLA's School of Art and Architecture, my ongoing interest in botanicals and green spaces fully surfaced; thus I merged my artistic background and my love in all that is green and headed into the garden design industry. For several years, I was fortunate enough to work for two garden design companies in San Francisco, and contributed to projects for Google, Restoration Hardware, and Sunset Western. I continued my journey even further North where I landed along the Mendocino coast as the lead edible gardener and florist for the Inn at Newport Ranch.
